Kary G. Whitehead

Board Certified Sleep Physician

Meridian has been home to the Whitehead family since 1992 when I began my practice of pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine. I grew up in Columbia, MS, where my dad was a family physician and I
saw the pleasure he had in taking care of his patients. That was the major reason I became a physician and why I enjoy sleep medicine so much. People who don’t sleep well, don’t feel well. When you help them sleep and feel better, they appreciate it.

Cindy Patrick

Nurse Practitioner

I originally graduated from EMCC in 1987, before attending MS University for Women. With a B.S. degree in Paralegal studies, my plan was to attend law school. While working as a paralegal, my grandmother became very ill, and after watching the nurses care for her, I changed my career to nursing. I graduated from MUW nursing in 1995. After working in critical care, telemetry, post anesthesia and cardiovascular recovery for 18 years, I attended nurse practitioner school, graduating in 2013. I joined Meridian Sleep Services in 2017, and being a CPAP user myself has helped me to help others with their sleep problems.
